- Nash Timbers Installation Checklist

Nash Timbers thanks all our wonderful clients who continue to support us through 2008.
Firstly, my News Year's resolution to send monthly News letter has gone out the window.
On the flip side Nash Timbers has been very busy helping our clients with their timber supply needs and the timber floor installation, which is going very well under the watchful eye of David and Norbi.
Many of our clients would have met Jimmy, who joined our firm in February. Jimmy is very busy preparing many timber samples for our clients and dropping them off. Jimmy, also ensures that the timber is taken in carefully at our installation sites and helps with your enquiries when you ring the office.
Check out this month's Belle Magazine! Nash Timbers supplied Blackbutt Decking and Wide Blackbutt timber flooring for Berowra Waters Restaurant. Food looks great but timber looks better!
Nash Timbers continue with The Nash Timber Presentation which has been certified by NSW Architectural Board for CPE Activity Formal Points & Builders CPD Event, at our home office monthly. Dates: 26th June at 5.00 (Must Book) Nibbles provided.
Nash Timbers would like to introduce an innovative Timber Flooring exclusively from Hurfords Hardwood.
"OVERLAY WIDE BOARD FLOORING"
Overlay Wide Board is designed for direct fixing to plywood and particle board, to be secretly fixed with adhesives and mechanical fixings.
Why it differs to standard profile wide board flooring
1)Wide Board Overlay has been specifically straightened and is manufactured to shorter lengths to provide a straighter bow and less spring.
2) Wide Board Overlay with its more precise manufacturing processes provides a product that is less prone to cupping and movement at manufacture.
3) Wide Board overlay has the tongue and groove machined off centre to provide the same wear thickness as standard profile wide boards.
4) Wide Board Overlay milled to secret nail profile.
Advantages of Wideborad Overlay
1) Height, only 14mm thickness and is able to be glue directly to concrete or existing floor.
2) Less acclimation required.
3) No top nailing required
4) Future sanding possible due to wear layer.
Overlay Flooring is available in sizes from 130-180 wide & 14mm thick in varying timber species Blackbutt, Blue Gum, Spotted Gum and Grey Ironbark.
Varying grades are available in certain species, Select grade Grey Ironbark & Blue Gum only, Rustic Grade Blackbutt, Standard Grade Blackbutt, Blue Gum & Spotted Gum.
Call Nash Timbers to discuss availability and installation requirements.
Next month Nash Timbers will discuss why they recommend timber flooring is acclimatized before nailing off
