NASH TIMBERS NEWSLETTER JUNE 2010
NASH TIMBERS JUNE NEWSLETTER Nash Timbers newsletter is a little late, so I hope you have missed your monthly timber fix. The opening of our new office has been delayed due to the rain but all going well should be completed by End of July. The office is taking great shape and we have used the new and recycled timber in many exciting ways internally and externally. To visit the office please call and make an appointment. Office Hours Monday to Friday 7am to 5pm. Designex show at Darling Harbour was a great success and it was a pleasure to catch up with all the clients who dropped by. Nash Timbers would like to introduce Barry Green, who started at the end of April. Barry owned and operated his own printing business with his brother. Due to selling the business Barry was in the market for a new employment opportunity. Barry works 5 days a week from 9.30am to 4.00pm. Barry will be taking over accounts receivables, so if your payment is overdue Barry will be calling you. Also he will be following quotes and leads and informing clients of deliveries and helping clients with timber prices when they call the office. Barry over the last weeks has increased his timber knowledge immensely. The Timber presentations were heavily supported by our clients, it is nice to be able to meet the face behind the voice, and we will schedule new dates when the new office opens. Send your question and test our knowledge!!!!! F.A.Q What is the colour variation with Standard Spotted Gum flooring? Standard Spotted Gum Flooring has a variation of colour due to the increase in sapwood which is used in this grade; this means the boards become lighter. OOPS! Nash Timbers do not recommend staining Spotted Gum flooring due to its oily content which prevents the stain been absorbed into the timber.
